BUY.COM Advised me to return duplicated order package, then refused to refund full amount. Internet
I placed an order on Buy.com. Since their ordering through Amazon.com process is not clear, I clicked the order button twice and received a duplicate order. i contacted Buy.com to inform them. The customer service rep advised me to refuse the second (duplicate order) package. The package was delivered to my mailbox, so I wrote "REFUSED" on the package and dropped it off at my local post office.
Several days later I get an email saying they have refunded my money, but it is not the full amount. I contacted Buy.com and they "escalated" my case. The next day I get this email:

The package does not show any refused delivery and we
have received the package back. We cannot issue any refund. Thanks.

It was forwarded through Buy.com, but when I contacted them, they had no record of the email! They informed me that the third party vendor charged me a restocking fee based on their explanation above! That makes no sense to me! I am currently on hold, and have been for 54 minutes. The representatives keep transferring me because every one of them has no idea what's going on. I expect to get a full refund for the merchandise. You can bet I will NEVER deal with these people again! I will advise everyone I know to stay away from them as well!
