Buy.Com Horrible customer service Web Internet
Bought a item from buy.com for Mothers Day. By Friday before Mothers Day item still did not ship. Contacted buy.com and after 30 mins on hold I was speaking with a offshore helpdesk, need I say more?? I will.... He confirmed item did not ship and would I like to cancel my order (which I did or so I thought).
Low and behold a week later the item shows up (of course I bought another gift instead)and I get a email a few days later that my return claim is denied (didnt know I had a claim, he told me it was canceled).
I attempted to return the item a week later and after numerous emails and calls to thier lousy offshore helpdesk I was informed that they have a 14 Day Exchange policy and cannot return the item. Requested to speak with a customer service manager to no avail. I searched the internet and this is the type of service they provide (no service really).
My only saving grace may be that I did use my AMEX card and they have a buyers protection program so I may get some monetary relief from them. Whatever you do, and no matter how good the deal is, DONT USE BUY.COM. If you need to return anything your doomed..
