Cabo Auto Sales, Cabo Auto Center in Canoga Park Ca, Liars and thieves! A mine field not a car lot!

Well what can you say, after being humiliated, lied to and literally laughed in the face? We can HONESTLY  (which is a word that doesn't exist at Cabo Auto Sales) I can honestly say that the day we bought a car from Cabo Auto Sales in Canoga Park Ca, was the worst day of my life!

The sales representatives are all in working together to scam their customers. First, the price was misrepresented by the advertisement and Tony. Then the history of the car was misrepresented by Alex. Then after our daughter wanted a Mercedes convertible so bad, and earned it by graduating college with straight "A's. We caved in. We had our reservations about these fellas Sonny and Alex who reverted to Farsi anytime they did not want you us hear their motives. We should of walked because our instincts told us that these guys were SHADY!

We figured that Alex (the Sales Manager) was helping us when he recommended that we purchase a warranty. Upon giving Alex $300 hundred extra dollars, He promise us that the warranty could be picked up in two days. (we have a receipt) Well he lied, gave us the run around and BOOM! the car not only blows a gasket and the heads, But the transmission was faulty the whole time and Cabo Auto sales in Canoga Park had foreknowledge of this according to the authorized Mercedes Dealer in Van Nuys. (who knew about Cabo, and told us that they get the same story from dozens of customers about their underhanded business practices)

We ran the gauntlet of sales people promising to help us. All we got were lies. Hoosien Aienna (the owner) is the ring leader here. He kept assuring us that the warranty would kick in. Lies lies and more lies.  Finally Alex just came out and told us that Cabo  " I refunded your warranty money long ago" LIES LIES AND MORE LIES! We are out four thousand dollars extra. And this car has a number of problems that I won't go into. Please refer to over thirty reviews written on Yelp and Google, This company has somehow filtered them. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT GO TO THE DMV INSPECTOR IN SAN FERNANDO CA. The DMV inspector is aware of Cabo. And is looking for complaints to arrest them.

Most folks do not know about the DMV inspector. He is the worst thing that Cabo wants to see. You have recourse. Please feel free to send me an email at (((Redacted))) I will be GLAD to help you in putting these crooks in their place. YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK! Do not let them get away with it!

Lets keep our eye on the ball, Look, This website is to heighten awareness on consumer fraud.  In reference to the two individuals who commented on grammatical errors in one persons retort:  All I can say as constructively as possible is that ignorance to the truth or facts is about as imbecilic as one can get. Especially if the truth is overlooked as a result of such ignorance as the criticism of ones grammatical skills. I understood the nature of the complaint by what was written here. I also sought out verification. So instead of criticizing s a few typo's, Why dont we look at the veracity of the complaint. It is verifiable, especially in lieu of all the parallel complaints on the web collaborating this persons grievance.

I really did not appreciate the persons who posted these frivolous rebuttals. There continuity was lacking, With a self aggrandizing, puffed up and proud demeanor. What? Did you want the readers to be impressed that they won the spelling bee? or in your knowledge of Indian tribes?. Whats your point? I can perceive that the writer meant "hands" not Hans. Did you want to call the late Albert Einstein an idiot? or better yet call him a dunce! He could not spell his name! Or the other person who likes to make their self look smarter and brighter by belittling someone else who is obviously a victim of a horrible circumstance. Maybe they just do not have "spell check" like you.

As to the alleged victim: I live here in the San Fernando Valley. Cabo Auto Sales is commonly known as a business that practices deceptive tactics. I am on the Board of Directors at a nearby baseball league. We ould not let this company advertise with us in lieu of its reputation in the community. As to the author of these allegations against Cabo Auto sales, I would recommend a dealer fraud Attorney or Lemon Law Advocacy Firm.  A "Spot Delivery" scam expert may also be an option, Offering a warranty and not processing it is fraud as defined in  Federal Laws, DMV codes and California State Penal Code.

Filing your case with the proper authority in a timely manner:

THE LOCAL DMV INSPECTOR HAS LEGAL AUTHORITY TO PROSECUTE DEALERS FOR FRAUD!
Call him! Car Dealerships do not want The DMV Inspector  nosing around. Many car dealerships will just pay you back just to get the DMV inspector out of their hair.

Also, I believe you have a case based on the Lemon Laws protecting consumers from buying "faulty" vehicles. A number of laws give consumers the right to cancel specific transactions or contracts within a specific amount of time.  The law holds dealerships criminally accountable for selling "Lemons" The "As Is" ploy is often used to subvert these laws. A good attorney will be able to prove that your transmission may have been tampered with and that the dealer in fact had foreknowledge that your car was a "lemon" It is also public record that Cabo has been accused of selling warranties and never processing them at least four times in the last two years.
Cabo Auto Sales in Canoga Park Ca.
has the poorest rating that can be given by the Better Business Bureau. or "BBB" Cabo Auto Sales in Ca. also has a file with the State Attorneys office as having numerous complaints.

Make a chronological record of EVERY phone call and transaction!.

A record log of every conversation you had with the dealer is essential in winning your case.  You MUST document exactly what was promised, who was there witnessing the conversation, and the particulars of that conversation. This  is very important, A judge will except them as evidence and these documents weigh in hard to discredit the dealership.

The most potent option!: Sue them! Most folks do not know that if they sue an auto dealership and win their case. That that dealership has a Surety Bond in place with the DMV. You can then file a claim with the auto dealerships insurance company and "LIEN" their bond. The insurance company is obligated by law to reimburse you the full amount of your judgement. Note: Auto Dealers generally have a maximum of Fifty Thousand Dollars in a bond with their insurance Company. i hope this was helpful.  M.D.

"Their are dozens of victims"

At least I know the difference between their and there. I learned that in the fifth grade.

"I would not lose sleep if Carma caught up with these scum bags... people take matters into their own hans"

Carma is not a word. Hans are Indians inhabiting the Yukon River.

Randy, you are a dunce. Yes, dunce is a word.

First of all, I can relate to your experience at Cabo Auto sales. When being conned, it's not always easy to look back and say would of could of should of. This "Cabo Auto Sales" is good at what they do. as for the person (arm chair coach) who makes reference to the transmission and test drives, Companies can manipulate transmissions to run for a few hundred miles even if they are shot. Some people are just too trusting and believe promises and take people for their word. A good Conn artist preys on people like you. Do not take this other imbeciles remarks to heart. Their are dozens of victims of Cabo auto Sales tactics. Fraud and deception. Yes I understand that you did not have a warranty and subsequently it cost you 4 thousand dollars in repairs. I also understand that these criminals have been let lose in our community with absolutely no consequences. It doesn't surprise me when people take matters into their own hans sometimes. i hope you are patient with the process and do not go postal on them. I would not lose sleep if Carma
caught up with these scum bags.

"First, the price was misrepresented by the advertisement and Tony."

That's called a red flag.

"We should of walked because our instincts told us that these guys were SHADY!"

But your legs are broken so you can't walk out.

"He promise us that the warranty could be picked up in two days."

That's when you should have said, "OK, I'll provide payment for the car and the warranty in two days."

"the transmission was faulty the whole time"

How did the transmission perform during the test drive?

"he recommended that we purchase a warranty. Upon giving Alex $300 hundred extra dollars... We are out four thousand dollars extra."

It is unclear if the warranty was $300 or $4000.

You allowed this to happen. Next time send your smart daughter out alone to make the purchase.
