You might note that Pork is considerably higher priced than Beef, nobody would deliberately give you higher priced meat unless it was a mistake.

If you make a choice to restrict your diet and avoid certain categories of foods altogether, then the onus is on YOU to either avoid any cooking but your own, or to thoroughly inspect your food BEFORE you eat it. The same holds true with the vegetarians that order the vegetable soup, realize that it's made out of beef stock, and complain as though there is some sort of civil rights violation at work. Sure, the restaurant would certainly be culpable if they served pork instead of beef, but for that mistake and that mistake only. There is no religious discrimination, no attrocity at work. Just a mistake that should be corrected. Robert, you will always be my favorite reactionary. I don't agree with your comments, but the "at least they didn't hold you against your will and cut your head off" is pure gold.

Sorry lady, I for one just cannot feel sad or sorry for your little tale of woe. You practice a religion of hate, and as such, I don't give a rat's-a*s about your feelings or what you claim to be a violation of your rights. Life isn't fair. The minimum wage cooks didn't conspire to make you eat something you find offensive. The funny part is, your Quoran does NOT say anywhere in it that you cannot eat pork. It says you should AVOID it. If the choice is eat pork or die of starvation, it tells you to eat it. Personally, I think the whole issue about how poor Muslims are treated is a load. I notice the waitstaff didn't hold you against your will and hack off your head with a knife. Feel lucky. You were treated with the respect and dignity that any NON-Muslim in a muslim country would NOT be treated.

Oh, are you talking about the Cancun's in Destin Florida who won the award for Best Mexican Restaurant of the year by the local newspaper; and best chips and salsa and best margaritas by the Emerald Coast Magazine. I have worked at Cancun's for some time now and I have always known them to be fair. I also know that there is a big color difference in Pork and in Beef. I found your complaint to be very contrary to its self. In your report you complained that they would not give you a to go box but you also stated that you showed it to a local chef who agreed that it was pork. How did you carry in out, in your hand? You also said you were half starved when your food came to your table, but I know for a fact that every customer gets chips and salsa either when they get their drinks but most of the time the customer recieves it when the waiter first arrives at the table. Secondly in all the 2 years that I have worked there I have never had one of my customers order pork. Because it is so rarely served it is kept frozen in the freezer outside, served only as carnitas, which is a stew of sorts, prepared periodically by the chef. You complain you had to pay for the drink but you drank your drink did you not? And you stated you ate some of the food which if, in my opinion, you were so religious you would check everything before you ate it. Because I know how strict the muslim religion is. Also I must ask if you noticed how busy the restarunt was because I know service there to be very reasonable, not perfect I admit but as every server dose we try our best. You state that our food is overpriced, but if you look at the location we are in it is considered standard or at most equal to those in our area. You imply that we did not care about your complaint but if we did not, would we call the owner in attempts to satisfy you in the best way we could. Is it also possible that you annoyed everyone into agreeing with you that it was pork? I know if I was trying to eat a peaceful meal with my friends or family and some rude person was intruding in and was forceful in getting my opinion I would say anything to get this person to leave me alone. I feel in my heart of hearts that you were just mad.
