Cape Cod Locksmith Cape Cod Locksmith - Fraud and a Ripoff! Unknowledgable technicians. Barnstable Massachusetts
I contacted several locksmith companies to assist with a lockout. 3 or 4 companies told me that they couldn't get here until 1 1/2 hours from now. I called Cape Cod Locksmith and they told me they would dispatch the call and have the technician contact me in a few minutes. The technician contacted me and said he would be here in 35 - 40 minutes. I called the technician back in an hour. He said he was tied up on a job and would be here in 30 minutes. I called back at the 2 hour mark and he said he would be on his way shortly. He arrived 35 minutes later. The charge was $130.00 for 5 minutes work after waiting for 2 1/2 hours. I would have continued searching for another locksmith had the original technician been honest. To add insult to injury, the charge was higher than other companies despite the fact that the technician said it was discounted. His excuse was that he was held up on a job. I'm sorry but if you are saying that you are just about to leave a job and then it takes you another 2 hours because you got hung up??? I have serious doubts about your knowledge, or perhaps my judgement. The most irresponsible practice I have experienced from any locksmith. DO NOT USE THEM!
