Capitol Grant Association offer services of helping you file for government grants, charged $299 and then did nothing ripoff Chapin New York
I had looked into applying for some government grants online and they called me. Told me that I was qualified and that grant writing fees would be $299. They initially returned my calls but in the past two weeks none have been returned. I did receive a phone call from someone saying that they were dealing with the housing grant portion of this - this person called several times. But now even in trying to reach that person there is no answer.
I have received no paper work and they have returned no phone calls. Worst of all they are scamming money from people who can afford it the least. They need to be stopped. My husband and I are living on his SSI and the doctor will not let me work (I have multiple health problems) so I have been fighting for my social security disability (it's been over 3 years now). We took the money to pay for these services out of our bill money.
If this is how this company operates then they need to be stopped. I, for one, am looking for others in the same boat and am willing to help start a class action suit.

Im currently a student trying to make my way through college and i was contacted by capitol grant association about all of the help they could offer me. For several weeks i was in contact with someone saying they were gathering my information to help make sure i recieved the money i need so badly. I recieved a package with that i was to send back with my check for $299. Now i have had no returned phone calls and have no idea how im going to return to school. I had to borrow the money to even pay for this so called grant. I too am trying to file some sort of suit if possible.
