My daughter had a long weekend break from school and decided to surprise me this past Friday.  She didn't know that I was leaving town on Sunday but it kind of worked out becuase she had planned to drive back to school on Sunday morning in order to beat the winter storm that was coming.  on Saturday evening, she wore my coat because she didn't realize how cold it was going to get and she left her big coat at school.  On Sunday morning, I kissed her goodbye and I left for Chicago.  While on the train, I received a call from her telling me that she had left her key in my coat pocket.  I told her not to get bent out of shape, I would handle it once I made it to the hotel.  I called a company that I got off the internet that I had actually used in the past for the same car, 24 hour locksmith.  The tech asked me for the year make and model of the vehicle and I told him that it was a 2007 chrysler sebring.  He said that it would cost 29 dollars for the service call and after that, there would be charges for making the key and inputting the code.  He said that it would cost about 149 dollars. 

When the tech got to my daughter, he told her that it would cost 250 dollars because the code was complexed.  She called  me and I told him that they were the same company that inputted the code a year before as well as made the key.  He said that he would do the job for 200 dollars.  I authorized the charge on my debit card.  My daughter called me about 20 minutes later, crying, saying that he left and that the key did not work and that there was blood all in her car.  I asked where that blood came from and she said that she did not know, that she thought he may have been cut or something. 

I called the business back and they told me that they would send another tech back out within 45 minutes.   After an hour or so with no tech on site, I called again.  I kept getting sent to different people until I finally spoke with someone after about 2 hours had gone past.  They called the tech and he said that he was around the corner.  After about another hour I called back.  I asked what they were going to do about my daughter's key and the blood in the car and they said that they were working on it.  Finally a tech came out and tried another key and again, it did not work.  My daughter asked about getting my money back and the tech said that it was too bad and gave her the non working keys and told her that their codes only work on 2015 cars. 

I called the company furious at this time and I wanted answers.  I was told that I could only get a 100 dollars of my money back and I told them that this was not acceptable because I did not get the service that i was promised and I was left with additional damages that they still refused to address.  I got hung up on.  I called the corporate office in Nashville TN and I told them of my complaint and they hung up in my face as well.  I have never been treated so unfairly and so unprofessionally in all of my 46 years!  I do intend to file a complaint with my bank, the Better Business Bereau and the health department for their unsanitary work practices.  I want other people to know not to do business with this company because in the event that they cannot provide the services that they promise, they will not operate in good faith and return your money.
