I agree - Luckily I checked "RIPOFF" before I responded to an offer of $18/hour security guards.
I went ahead and provided data that was not quite accurate and used my secondary e-mail address.
Within 2 hours I had an email stating that they were unable to contact me by phone. Minutes later, Univ of Phoenix and Colorado Tech were sending e-mails asking for a valid phone number.
