At the Ramona Flea Market, there is a guy with a carnival booth that rips little kids off! He ripped me off of $20. He should be put in jail! There is NO WAY to win the carnival game. Its impossible. I am SO pissed and I want my money back. That ba**ard!

Fair games are defiantly not fair The balloon game is the biggest Rip off to me. I went to one stand to win my little sister something and it was 3 dollars to play. Each time I lost he's like I'll give you one more dart to try again. The way he made it sound was like he was going to let me try for free. When I finally said I gave up he told me that that would be $40.00! I asked him why and he said that each dart that he "gave" me was for an additional fee of 2 dollars. I did not play 19 more times with the darts he "gave me" And I told him so. I was extremely mad and felt very ripped off. I only had $20.00 left in my pocket and told him if he would have made it CLEAR that they cost that much I would have not have continued to PLAY. He said well, you at least have to give me the $20.00 since you DID play at least 10 times. I did, ( although I still highly doubt that I played that many more times) and he ended up giving me a stuffed bear less than 6 inches tall. We ended up having to leave because I had no money for food. I went in expecting to play for 3.00 , at the most $5.00 and got RIPPED OFF. He ruined our fair experience. My advice, don't let children go by themselves. Even then make sure that the rules of the game are clearly displayed and verbally agreed. And most defiantly don't take the chances he's "giving" you. Also, count how many extra times you get a new dart, play, ect, Because they'll still try to rip you off by saying you played more than you actually did. It was easy for him to rip me off and im an adult, so children to this man must be easy picking!!!!

What was the kind of game that was played? Most states will not allow a game to be called a game of chance-it is called a game of skill. A game of chance means that you are gambling and that is against the law. Having owed and worked games for many years, I can tell you right now that there is always a way to win but you have to watch the operator like a hawk. Let's use a balloon art game for example where there is a tag in back of the balloon you are throwing at and if you break the balloon you win whatever number is on that tag. Do not throw at the center section of the display of balloons. Tell the operator to move because you want to throw at the side portion, that is where all the good tags are for the bigger prices. He will stand on that side so that you can't throw for the tags with the bigger prizes. If you playing any kind of games where you are playing for points, do not rely opn the operator counting the point for you, he will add them up wrong or in his favor if it is a playup game. I could on and on but i will end with this one, the knocking down of the three milk bottles is the biggest scam going. One of the bottles is heavier than the other two and it will never fall over. It is all how he sets the bottles up. After you have dropped a pretty good chunk of money, he will finally set the heavy bottle as the top one and you will then and only then. You will cart off a nice plush animal that cost the operator of the game maybe $4.00 but you spent $20 to win. Everything is stacked against you, unless you know what you are doing.

If you can remember, what kind of "game of chance" was it?
