Carnival Cruise Lines Dishonest employees at Carnival Cruise line. Stole jewerly from our room Miami Florida
We recently went on a 4 day Carnival Cruise.
BEWARE of the following.
Even though their literature says all tips included, the porters at the dock EXPECT and DEMAND to be tipped. They will hunt you down if you don't tip them. I refuse to tip a guy who simply does his job especially when all gratuities are supposedly included. He got back at us by by tearing off all our luggage tags. Obviously, we had to pick up our bags at the porters lost & found office. Took a couple of extra hours to get our luggage but no big whoop. Nice try, Mr. Minimum wage-trailer-park-porter-XXXhole.
The cruise was OK. Cheezy boat (Victory), seemed claustrophobic, average food, ridiculously priced drinks ($11 for a cocktail???), constant hounding by waiters to buy a water-down-made-an-hour-ago punch drink, etc. The topper was when we left. My wife left her Tiffany's ring in the medicine cabinet. We called Carnival 45 minutes later, from the taxi cab to the airport, and told them exactly what happened. I said send in a supervisor and get the ring before the maid steals it. They couldn't do anything except see if it "shows up" in L & F. Yea, right the maids going to turn it in. Needless to say, we made our donation to the employee bonus program. Carnival sucks.

Did your cabin have a safe in your closet? The one I had did. You programmed your own PIN number in so no one could get into it and locked up your valuables into it instead of hiding them in the med cabinet.
