Caro Carriers,Inc. Never completed delivery, Non stop lies, EXTRA COST TO ME, Dishonest, Can't trust the guy McAllen Texas
I won a bid for a pickup truck off E-Bay and I paid $1150.00 to have Caro Carriers,Inc. deliver my truck from Houston Texas to Oregon. After not hearing a thing from him, I started calling the Car Dealer in Texas where I obtained the truck. They where also LOOKING FOR HIM.
I finally located my truck after obtaining a phone number of a former employee of Caro Carriers. She told me that my truck was in Palmdale,California. It was off loaded in a field sitting behind an apartment complex.
After a MONTH of trying to locate the truck, I had to obtain a ticket to fly down to palmdale Ca, and drive it back to my home in Oregon.
The owner of Caro Carriers, A Mr Robert Sharpe, never called me to let me know what or where my vehicle was. Had I not made the effort to locate my truck, I could have had it stolden or stripped or perhaps never seen the truck again.
The trip down to California cost me over $600.00 for ticket, Deisel fuel,Lodging & Food.Plus I lost a day of work due to fatigue.
This has happened to other folks who have personally contacted me off another site I have posted this experience too.If you go to Complaint service.com You will read other reports about this Dishonist business. This guy never completes a contract, He just takes your vehicle so far and drops it off and never bothers to let the owner know what or where that vehicle was dropped. Is this any way to operate ?? Please folks check it out before you allow a car carrier to transport a vehicle from one State to another.
I will never do this again. And it cost me an extra $600.00 plus three days of driving on the road with little sleep to get the vehicle HOME SAFE
Last thing: I was told by the former Employee of Caro-Carriers that the owner would send me $500.00 to pay me for my cost of having to fly out to Cailfornia to get it myself.
I will never see this money. LIES,LIES,LIES NON STOP.
