C.A.R.S., Complete Automotive Repair Services, Contract states they will give more help than they actually do! Ripoff Murrysville Pennsylvania
My warranty states that they will completely replace my transmission, and pay for a rental vehicle. C.A.R.S. refused to pay for anything until my mechanic took the transmission apart and reported the exact problem with the transmission. C.A.R.S. refused to pay for the man hours that this took.
Once my mechanic reported the transmission needed to be replaced, they refused to pay for the liquids that are required to go into the transmission, they refused to pay for seals that the transmission needs and said if I do not have seals put on the transmission then they would void the "junkyard" replacement transmission from my paid in complete warranty.
My 1999 Ford Expedition has been sitting at the mechanics shop for 11 days and C.A.R.S. refuses to pay for a rental vehicle for myself and my two young children.
When I called C.A.R.S. they were rude, a man stated to me that since the mechanic could put the replacement transmission in the vehicle in under 8 hours, then no rental vehicle will be provided. When I explained that it is winter where I am, and I have no vehicle to go and get groceries or take my 4 year old to school, he said that "it was not his problem". C.A.R.S. insisted on sending their replacement "junkyard" transmission to the mechanic themselves, my mechanic received the replacement on day 10.
C.A.R.S. also refuses to cancel my warranty with them to provide me with a refund for practicly no help with my vehicle troubles.
