C.A.R.S. Inc of Woodstock, GA aka Mike Free Buyer BEWARE of this unscrupulous contractor turned used car salesman. Dressed in lambs wool striving to keep up with a PIP Lawyer Woodstock Georgia
This complaint is specific to the owner, Mr Mike Free of CARS Inc Woodstock, Ga
1. Mr Free does not live up to any verbal commitments. Mr Free provided verbal shedules, procedures for keeping client informed and estimated dates for completion of various aspects of auto restoration work. He failed to meet any of the cost or time projections. Additionally he failed to provide timely responses, schedules, costs, and pictures of work. He lacked all sense of urgency in reqards to client inquiries. He failed to return phone calls and e mails and actually avoided phone calls and request for information and updates. I also found many of his statements to be total false and misleading. In other words my opinion of Mr Free is a dishonest former contractor turned worse used car salesman and peddler of restoration work.
2. Mr Mike Free does inferior and shoody workmanship. After numerous request to repair certain items he eventually failed and the car was removed from his possesion with numerous defects and problems. Mr Free avoided the final request to go over the items and did not show up for the final inspection He did not finish the job and was threatening and argumentative to the point of being rude.
3. Mr Free lacks expertise in the auto restoration business. Many parts were ordered wrong and had to be sent back for replacements. Some were actally installed and had to be removed and replaced with correct parts. He delegated sourcing parts and the level of competency was very inadequate.
Many questions for specific documentation and Mfg specifications on the parts installed was avoided and hence none was ever provided.
Mr Free is a first class RIP OFF in all aspects of his business.

I agree with this post he handled my car in the very same manner. This seems to be a part of his process. I think people need to be more aware of this. I realized it once I was 10k into my project. If you want to talk we can something has to be done about this guy. !

Since the posting of the accurate, true and genuine facts of this complaint, Mr Free has just now left a threatening voice mail message promising to take of this the "old fashioned way". Explicity indicating he would find me where ever that may be.
