C.A.R.S. Protection Plus False Advertisement Murrysville Pennsylvania
When I purchased a new used vehicle I was told I could receive a warranty to the vehicle. Being that the vehicle was used my wife and I were convinced it would be a good purchase because the warranty company had a list of all the repairs they would cover towards fixing the vehicle. On it there states there is a $100.00 deductible. My wife and I bought agreed this would make purchasing the vehicle safer for us in case something happened.
So three weeks after I purchase the truck the started goes bad. I take it to a mechanic have to wait approximately 24 hours so the mechanic can get a response back wasting my time and money from not working. When the mechanic gets back the information he informs me that the warrranty company will only cover $67.38 of the total repair bill of $403.75.
C.A.R.S. Protection Plus is a total scam and rip off. I paid over $750.00 for the warranty, I bought a truck that I would not have bought had I known the warranty was a joke, and now I am left trying to figure out the best way to get the needed repairs done to my vehicle. I would have never bought the vehicle had I known how much of a scam this company is. Do yourself a favor and stay away not only the company the offeres these warranties, but the dealership that offers them as well.
