CASA PONTIAC BUICK GMC DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THESE PEOPLE SAY!!!!!!! BAYTOWN Texas
BEWARE!!!!!!
Unfortunately I have made some poor decisions in my past that I'm still paying for. I am not ashamed to admit this. I see their ad on t.v. where they were basically misleading people like myself by saying that they can work with "ANY" credit situations and get you into a new or used vehicle. So I figured what do I have to lose by giving them a shot. So, I call the 800 number and submit my information.
I get a call not even 30 minutes later from one of their sales associates saying " we have a bank that will finance you, all you need is $500 down.'' My better judgement told me there has to be a catch. SO I ask a series of questions as to how this was possible when I have been turned down by other dealerships? I didnt want to get my hopes up, or possibly reduce my credit score (something I have been working on diligently).
They go and give me some lengthy explanation as to how this is all possible and "reassure" me (more like LIE), that they have a bank thats ready to do a deal. No cosigner needed, eventhough I have negative equity in my current vehicle, proof of current employment, no large deposit needed, just come in with $500 and I would be driving off the lot with a newer car.
I drive over an hour to the dealership only to find out it was a con to get me to come in. None of what they explained on the phone was true, I get there and I'm filling out paperwork to be submitted to various banks that all denied me. The answers I got over the phone were a flat out lie!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. IT'S A CON TO GET YOU TO COME IN!!!
Unfortunately I was not well informed as to how these all these dealerships conduct business. My own ignorance could be to blame, but when you have good people who have made mistakes in the past its not fair to misinform them, or mislead them. We are human too. BUYER BEWARE!!! I just hope that one day I can find a dealership that truly can work with someone like myself.
