It appears that you ripped off yourself

With home and auto most of these loans require downpayments. That downpayment amount depends on your credit rating.  CashNet is a payday lender and doesn't require a 'downpayment' in order to qualify for a loan. The amount of money you said you sent to them BEFORE (or NOT) getting the $2k you requested makes me wonder why you needed a loan in the first place. Confusing. What's more baffling is why you continued to send them money after what happened with that initial payment you sent.

I had taken a few payday advances over the years and fortunately I haven't had one bad experience. It's really a cut and dry process. First off, no legitiment finance firm such as payday advance stores (who must comply with federal regualations in order to stay in business and out of jail) will ask nor require 'money from the customer in advance' in order to get loan approval. This practice also applies to Line of Credit and Installment Loans.

I do hope you were able to get this resolved. It'll be beneficial to you to carefully read over the Terms and Conditions listed on their website. If they did provide you with a loan contract, I suggest carefully reading through that with a fine tooth comb. It wouldn't hurt of get in touch with your local Legal Aid dept. for legal advice.

And lastly, it seemed since you had money to send them in hopes of getting your loan funded but couldn't feed your kids, consider your priorities first. Good luck!
