I saw a pair if shoes the sales ladies said were discontinued. they said they had one pair left. The sign said half off. It wasnt exactly my size so i went on line and saw they had them for regular price, $45.00.. i went back to the same store to get them half off. I already have a pair in white from a year ago. they were 45.00 then. The store is empty, the girls say, well, $45.00 is half price, they were $89.99...WHAT? OMG. They marked a clearance item up and then marked it down....to make women think they're getting half off!!!!! I called them theives, and walked out.. Liars!!! they think I'm stupid....the quality of the shoe wasnt even worth $45.00!!! Plastic heels and soles!!! Come on!!!! The next sale Cathy jeans will have is GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!

Dear Anna - there is nothing wrong with plastic -- in fact plastic lasts longer and can be made to feel and look just like leather without having to torture an innocent animal. Also, you may not be familiar with cost of goods sold, but the shoe business has margins, and you can bet that shoes that sell for very cheap are made under difficult conditions.
