Ccbillsvc.com Computer virus and follow spyware ripoff Unknown unknown
I downloaded files from the internet. Immediately, I got "your computer is infected" message. I was upset and the screen continually blinked and was inoperable. I got frustrated and turned it off without resolution.
The next night, I started the computer up again and had the same issue of messages referring to the infection and that my computer is unprotected.
Finally, I answered one of the emails and put my visa card number in, following the screens. I was not aware of the cost, but expected the next page to let me know what was going to be charged to my account.
I tried to at least download the software, but the screen went away without knowing what site to go back to or who I gave my card number to.
I feel bad, stupid and I have never fell for something like this before. I would like to see this group get caught. Let me know if I can or need to do anything.
