CCS First National Credit ripoff business from hell Las Vegas Nevada
I recieved the 6,500 card from CCS First National Credit. I was very excited because I am young and need to establish credit, I thought this was a great opprotunity for me. So I activated my card because the man I spoke to on the phone said that it was a mastercard. I went to use it at a gas station and it would go though, the attendant asked what type of card it was and I told her Mastercard. Needless to say it wasn't, I should have gotten the clue when there was no logo on the card, but I didn't.
I went home to read my acceptance letter and it isn't plainly stated that the card is only for catalog use, so I got online to see what this was all about (which I should have done in the beginning)and I came across all the reports on what have happened.
I called to cancle my card and the man on the phone was very rude to me and told me to call back in the morning when a costomer service rep was available. Thank god they haven't taken the money out of my account yet and thank god that I am still in the 30 day risk free trial.
It really hurt to think that someone would take advantage of people like that. I guess I am too trusting in the goodness of human nature.
But I think it is wrong and they should pay for what they are doing and be shut down. It is very misleading, expecially to those who have no, little, or bad credit and are trying to fix it. I am upset and wish there was some way this company could repay the hope that they gave me by telling me it was a CREDIT CARD, I was planning on moving in January and was going to put first months rent and moving expenses on my "credit card". I am glad I caught it in time.
