There is no excuse for them to be rude on the phone, espescially if the perosn they are speaking with is not being rude back. Just making a guess, as you said you lived with your grandmother 3 years ago, that the alleged debt is from that time. All collection agencies have to send out a letter at the beginning of collection activity. From what I understand, it usually would be sent to the address used when the account was opened. Check with your grandmother to see if she has mail for you, or returned mail back to the post office

My grandmother got a call from them looking for me yesterday. She told the woman on the phone that I was not there, I haven't lived there in almost 3 years, and the lady told her "look lady, you better get her on the phone within the next 30 seconds." My grandma got upset and told her "she is not here". Then the lady hung up on her. I have no idea what this is for? I have nothing at home from them a letter or anything!
