I purchased two Motorola RAZR phones from CellularChoices.net a.k.a Inphonic on July 5, 2005. Each of the two phones qualified for 2 rebates. Totaling $400.00.

I waited the mandatory 180 days before submitting the rebates. One month later I inquired about the status of the rebates and CellularChoices.net claimed the rebates were never received. However, after notifying the company that I sent the documents via Certified Mail, and I had proof that they were delivered. All the rebates mysteriously appeared in their system the next day.

The rebate forms were sent on January 10, 2006. The contract stated that it would take 10-12 weeks to receive the check. It has now been 14 weeks and I have NOT received anything. After NUMEROUS e-mails CellularChoices.net has now told me that it will be an additional 10-12 weeks before I receive my check. A total of 26 weeks!! If it ever does come.

Inphonic/CellularChoices is clearly committing fraud by deliberately not upholding their part of the contract. I hope this issue can be promptly resolved. I will post any updates.

I did not receive my rebate untill almost one year later!! Numerous e-mails and phone calls resulted in nothing but lies and no rebate check. The ONLY way Inphonic/Cellular Choices will issue a rebate is to file a formal complaint with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (www.bbb.org). I looked up Cellular Choices on the BBB website and the company had THOUSANDS of comlaints. I submitted the comlaint form with the BBB and within 10 days I had the check. It's unfortunate that sleazy, corrupt companies like INPHONICS/CELLULAR CHOICES only fulfil their responsibilities if legal actions are taken. File a complaint with the BBB and hopefully you will receive your rebate. Perhaps with enough comlaints this company will have its business license revoked (if it has one)!!

This Doreen person is lying through her teeth. I sent my rebate in over 7 months ago and I have still not received my money. They even admitted that everything was in order, but everytime they respond they tack another 3 months on to how long it takes to do this. So, Ddoreen, what is your excuse for my rebate being held up for over half a year???

As directed to by DOREEN DENNIS of Inphonic I e-mailed her to get a more percise dat that I may receive my rebate check and her response was, "Unfortunately I cannot give you an exact date on when the check will be mailed but I can confirm you were approved". What kind of answer is that? Inphonic/Cellular Choices has been giving me the run around for 16 weeks! Still waiting with NO ANSWERS!!
