When you mention to your friends/family, "the cable guy broke my bed", just look at their reaction. Funny stuff.

They have no education, get paid practically minimum wage due to their lack of experience, and from what I have gathered mostly speak in grunts. I certainly wouldn't trust them with any of my furniture (especially one of such value). But if the wire jockey moved the bed without your permission he, dimhouse, and the contracting company should fork over all damages. But this is exactly why I don't let these fools touch anything besides the outlets and their own equipment.

First off, the "Cable guy" is not a furniture mover he is there to install your cable and or internet or phone. If an attempt was made by the installer to move furniture in order to complete his assignment and the the piece of furniture malfunctioned as a result then this is no fault of the technician especially if the piece of furniture was made in China. The owner or tenant is responsible for making the necessary accommodations for the installer/technician to complete his/her assignment. I would assume that the person posting this complaint was not sitting on the bed at the time the installer was attempting to move the piece. At any rate sounds like you (the complainer) paid too much for this piece of furniture in the first place and should consider yourself lucky to have received any compensation at all. CFCC has been partners with Brighthouse for 8 years and only one complaint, come on people be REAL !!!
