Centurion Financial Benefits Ripoff promised me master credit card $2000 charged me processing fee of over $250.00 they lied debit card I have to put money into account I ask several times if this was a credit or debit they told me it was a credit card Now they will not discuss the issue with me Told me to bad I can't get my money back Champlain New York
I received a call at my residence from representative from Centurion Financial. They offered me a Master Card credit card with no interest with a credit line of $2000.00. They told me I would have to pay a processing fee. I was afraid to go along with the transaction because it did not at first sound legitimate. So I ask alot of question. I ask the representative was this a credit card I could use at all acceptance Master Card facilities. She assured me it was. I ask was this a debit card and she assured me it was not.
At this point nothing was recorded. So i agreed to apply. The representative told me that her supervisor would take the information and record our conversation. I did authorized a debit from from checking account for over $250.00 took was processed on 09/27/04. They then told me I would receive my credit card in approximately 15 to 25 days. Today I called the customer service number 1-866-784-0260 to inquiry about the credit card. I was told that I would receive my acceptance letter 25 days after my processing fee was debited from my account. I then told the customer svc representative that I did not know about an acceptance letter. She went on to explain that it was not a credit card but a debit card in which I would have to put money into an account to use. I was really pissed off and explained to her that was not what I was told. She basically told me that there was nothing she could do for me.
I could not get my money back and she gave me this address to write. Centurion Financial Benefits, 33 Elm Street, Champlain, NY 12919. She would not give me a phone number, said I could not talk to them personally. So I have been trying everything possible to come up with a phone number. There is no yellow page listing in Champlain, NY for such and estashblishment. I feel so terrible that I allowed this to happened. I do not know where to turn for help.
