Complaint Review: Centurion Financial - Champlain New York

To put a long story short... I was scamed by a company in April calling themselves "City-wide Services". They took me for close to $1000.00. After filing all the reports (BBB,postal inspector,local police,attorney general,telebusters,and any other governing agency you can think of nothing was done. These people had my money,my CREDIT REPORT/banking information... basically they had everything..and no one could do anything about it because they were gone. in fact-they never was even there.Supposedly they were located in indiana--you know their "physical address". but come to find out that was a MAIL BOXES ETC. location and they had a "box" there.Moving on let me explain how Centurion plays their part in this big picture.

The scam with the canadians and "city-wide SErvices" happened in April of this year while I lived in Oklahoma---I have since then relocated to Georgia. About 2 weeks ago I started receiving calls from an unavailable phone number. I would receive calls at all hours of the day and night. I tried to trace the phone number but the phone company advised me that they could not do so because the phone number was unavailable so they advised me to contact the local police.

I contacted the local police who advised me that they would not be able to trace the number if the phone company couldnt. So basically I just thought that I would have to keep enduring these harassing phone calls rather than change my number.But then, fate worked my way...sort of. One moring at about 0800 EST the phone rang--and on the caller ID "unavailable" was displayed..It had gotten so bad that I had gotten tired of listening to dead silence when I answered the phone hello that I just said hello once and then began yelling obscenities until I felt like hanging up---except this time when I said hello a female responded by saying "hello-um sorry I havent had my morning coffe yet (haha) but can I speak to Treva please? Stunned that someone is actually speaking this time I woke the heck up and said "this is she"--the voice on the other end of the line told me that I was approved for a mastercard that I APPLIED FOR.

I responded by saying OK....she asked me if I had a bank account I said why...she then replied that there was a fee for this card and I told her to give me their account and I would wire it over the computer and she hung up on me?I thought that the phone got disconnected and waited for her to call back but she never did....HUUUMM

And the harassing calls continued--for about another week and then 0800 in the morning another call--except this time from a guy. It was early (0800 just is not my time for wakening) so instead of picking up the handset of the phone when it rang i hit the speaker phone...HEllo? I asked. May I speak to Treva please? who is this ..i asked ...This is (so and so) with Centurion financial.What? I asked--you have been approved for a master card is this Treva? hold on i said..got my lazy but up and picked up the head set? Who is this I asked again..and he repeated his business name as I walked to my PC to Google search the company name he told me he was with ..as I sat down at my computer he asked me if I was interested I told Him no-but what are the requirements anyway--his responce to that was :Well if you arnt interested why the Fu%@ should I waste my time...and he hung up the phone on me...Upset because I had no way of calling him back and expressing myself I looked at my google search results and found out why I could not reach this ghost company---because there isnt one.

I know this specific company did not succeed at taking my money this time but they attempted to. What I wouldlike to say Is that I still feel the pain of that large sum of money I lost and I have made a promise to myself that I (hopefully with the assistance of law enforcement)will catch my initial culprits!I honestly believe that the people who frauded me in April are the same people that have frauded you people and attempted to fraud me again. The female that initialy called me--you know the one that had not had her morning coffee---sounded a lot like the bastards at City-wide services.I do not know if they have just recruited more people--or sold a list of our names to some more individuals I just believe that the situations are related and this company is also from canada..I will track them down--If you have any additional information or wouldjust like to chat with someone who has been there--and lost that too..my email is [email protected]

I do not care how long it takes--I am determined to find out who these people are and get my money back... All I really want is a face to face confrontation so I can tell them to get a GOT REAL JOB!! Maybe slap them around a little bit... I mean a lot-a whole lot
