Century moving Lombard Illinois While moving our family,They dropped our antique restored gas pump off of their loading ramp due to the employees not paying attention. Lombard Illinois
Owners daughter was aware of the incident and said they will repair it without any problem. I got an estimate as she requested and it was at $1100.00. After that they say they will pay $350.00 only and that it was my fault because i didnt take the more expensive insurance policy. The incident was wittnessed and the dropping was due to their employees goofing off and running up and down the ramp when the employee ran into landscape rocks and dropped it. They attempted to hide the damaged item in the truck. When I inquired they first denied it until I showed them a handfull of broken glass. By then the employee had already wrapped and hidden the pump in the truck. They now wont return calls along with Bekins HQ. The last time I spoke with them they stated that "one bad review wont hurt their company of 47 years" BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
