Mr. Cervantes contacted me, and explained his unfortunate circumstances with former employee(s), apologized and complied with refunding me (half the cost) on the installation of the sprinkler system.
Mr. Cervantes is a nice man, it's unfortunate that this matter reached the 'Rip Off Report' because had there been communication between Mr. Cervantes and myself prior, this report would of never made it online.
I consider this matter resolved with Mr. Cervantes and Landscape Company.

His business name may change, however his name is "Ruben Cervantes".
He is NOT LICENSED OR INSURED !!!! Continues to advertise via craigslist.
Unless you are interested in having problems, beware of hiring handyman or landscaping services from "Ruben Cervantes".
Ruben Cervantes was contracted to install a sprinkler system around the house and charged me $1,975.00.
He did not comply with ANY regulations necessary to install the sprinkler system and rushed through the job, (so he could work on my neighbors irrigation system). After a couple of weeks, when the dirt settled, there was pvc pipe sticking out of the lawn in many places. The pipe was dug down just a couple of inches underground, so in certain areas of the yard, you can see pvc showing and as a result one of the main lines busted.
I called Mr. Cervantes several times prior to the pvc breaking to inform him of the terrible work he performed and for him to adjust some of these areas of concern. I spoke with him SEVERAL times and each time, he ensured me that he would come out to address the work but never did. Instead, his phone number changed and so did his business name.
Now that one of the pvc pipes broke and I require a handyman to fix what I paid 'Ruben' for, I find him advertising his Landscaping Company (different name) on craigslist. It's my civic duty to warn/inform others before making the same mistake I did and hire Ruben Cervantes Landscape & Fence Co.
Obviously he is NOT a businessman and has no concept of the 80/20 rule and would rather rip-you-off, then provide a professional service where he could have a customer for life.
