Charles Dunn of Dunn Construction Failure to complete Kitchen project. Was paid the money and quit showing up to finish installing kitchen countertops and ceiling fan ($1440) Cincinnat
Kitchen project total price was $4324(includes $279 in taxes). Was paid $4175. Installer kept on making excuses about installing countertops and ceiling fan. He never showed up to install countertops as promised. Final stray is when he put a block on his phone for 2 weeks so that we couldn't contact him. Didn't leave an address so we couldn't reach him. Won iin in cincinnati small claims court by default of $1440. Never give a lot of money up front . He kept on asking for money even though he got a big down payment. Stick to the contract an d make that clear from the beginning. If he doesn't and want more money, that's a red flag. Most of the time these people will leave projects if you don't. Deal with reputable people. Check their court record and attorney general. In most cases you're not his first victum
