CHARTER LENDING GROUP I got screwed by Charter Lending Group COLUMBIA Maryland
I filled out an online application with Charter Lending Group. A guy named MICHEAL DAVIDSON called me two days later. He said I was approved for $15,000, but they needed $1,730 down on the loan to show good faith. He faxed me what looked like legal documents to fill out and sign then send back. I sent a Money Gram that day. Micheal called the next day and told me he needed another $1,730 because the insurance on the loan needed more money to secure the loan. So I borrow money so I could pay them the extra that they needed.
After reading the fine print of the documents they sent me I noticed that it had in fact said somethin about them being able to ask for more money. So I called Micheal Davidson back and ask him if they could ask for more money after this.He put me through to a man named LARRY HOUSTON. He stated they could only ask twice.
Dumb Me!! I sent them the money for the second time. Nothing happened for two days. For thoughs two days I called and demanded my money. They guarnteed it would be there by the end of the day.
Then a guy named PAUL WRIGHT called and said that they couldn't do the loan for $15,000 but could do it for a $30,000 loan if we sent another $3,000. I said I don't think so!! If you can't loan me 15,000 why would you loan me 30,000! I want my money back now!! They said they only did refunds on the 6th of every month, and we would have to wait until January 6, 2009.
They tried calling a few more times trying for the 30,000 and I haven't seen my refund or my 15,000 since.
