I went online today to see if my payment was posted. Well, it wasn't. I called and spoke to Mr. Ricky Mayfield (EMP ID: 940023)He stated that he saw the notes that Mr. Calhoun wrote; however, a payment was never sent through. He stated that he could retake my information and send it through again. I told him that this has been done twice on my account. At this time, he sent me to collections. I spoke with Mr. Rodney Jackson (6354) and he explained to me that when a speed-pay request is made in customer service, it is hand deliverd from customer service to collections. He stated that there was nothing in my account from customer service and that I needed to make a payment. I explained that I had done this twice and he stated that there was nothing posted which backed up my statement. I told him the names of the people that took my payments. He stated that since I was now on the phone with him, he could make sure that my payment was taken because it did not have to be hand delivered. I told him that I've heard this now twice. Each person seemed to have the "magic" to make a payment happen. He stated that my account wasn't late and that everything will be okay. I told him that I felt, with the way things were being handled on my account, that my account was going to go into collections. He assured me that it wasn't. Why don't I beleive him? So, I made another payment by phone. Let's see what happens now. I'm so frustrated.

As of August 12, 2004, I have been constantly following up on this account. My Broker did not hear back from the Chase rep and my account was not refunded. The payment that I made by phone on the July 27, 2004 was not posted to my account. I spoke to Ms. Hailey Brooks on August 12, 2004 and was told that there was not a record of my account being paid. I told her that a Mr. Jan Parks took my payment and she asked me if I was sure. I told her that I gave him my routing number and check number and was told that it would take a few weeks to post. Since today is the due date, I was concerned since it had not posted yet. I told her that I had names of everyone I spoke to regarding this. She stated that I should not have been told to give a payment early and that it should not take 2-3 weeks to post and that it should only take 2-5 days. I told her that the reason he had me pay was because I had not received a statement due to the incorrect address. She stated that the statment was sent on July 23, 2004. I stated that this was before my address had been changed. At this time, I got upset and she said, "I'm transferring you to someone else." A minute later, Mr. Jason Calhoun (EMP ID. 895372), Supervisor answered the phone. Again, I had to rehash everything. He stated that he knew who Mr. Jan Parks' supervisor was and would get with him regarding the situation. He stated that he would take my payment by phone. Great, here we go again. I gave him my routing number and account number and had him repeat it back to me twice. He appeared to have it correct. He stated that it would take 7-10 days to post to my account. Gee, 2-3 weeks, 2-5 days, 7-10 days.......WELL, which is it? And, he stated that he would back-date the posting for July 27. He told me that I would not have any late fees. I told Mr. Calhoun that I did not have a warm fuzzy. He stated that he understood and would personally monitor my account. I told him that I was tired of having to constantly call. He stated that I would not have to call anymore. Hmmm...I really don't think this is over. After all, nothing has gone right on this account. What's sad...I have not used one cent of this money and yet, I OWE!!!!I OWE!!!!! I OWE!!!

My Broker, who has been working with me to resolve this problem, infomed me today (July 29, 2004) that the Chase Rep stated she should have the refund of the interest approved next week. I also hope this means the payment that I made to keep my credit in good standing.
