About Englands Owner/Operator plan.
WE knew something was wrong when after graduating their great truckers school that after six months otr you could lease one of their trucks.
How can you be called an owner operator when the freight you pull is dictated to you?
When YOUR TRUCK is governed by their company policies?
Where does it say on an England O/O truck "leaced to...."?
WE were told by recruiters over the phone that after being in our own assigned truck we'd BOTH be making 8 cents a mile "BOTH" This was in 99. I wonder what kind of s**t they pull now. Our paychecks weren't enough to servive on. An 8 cent split at 500 miles a week. Those mormon pigs had no problem taking full percentage out from their bs school costs.
If you want a gauranteed cdl then I say DO go to england.
All their instructors are state certified, you are guaranteed your license. After you gewt your hard copy run like hell.
WE were at the yard once in salt lake just before quiting. WE were there to talk to ray [c]hunt.WE wanted to complain about lack of miles and how when we would get loads they would be screwed up conway loads that needed drivers above our experience level to fix.Before we talked to ray he was talking to a female driver who couldn't understand why she was on probation.
She had already rolled TWO TRUCKS.WE hadn't rolled any trucks and just wanted miles so we could eat and pay our mortgage.WE also saw them talking to a driver BEGGING him to drive at least 500 miles a day. HE said he cant, he needs to do loundry. WE found out from other husband and wife teams that started out at england the CRE doesnt give teams miles they use them for late loads.most drivers we found that started with england as teams would wind up quiting as a team and only one drive so they could eat.

All you CRE drivers, don't worry because what they are doing is against the law. To do what they are doing to the trucking industry is unethical, and borders on illegal. I personally have been in touch with several federal and state organizations and agencies, as well as all the major news organizations. I will not be taken advantage of like this again, and I hope my actions will help future drivers should they decide to lease. It's unfortunate that people don't know their options. Time consuming yes...but if I have to work 40hrs a week and work on this issue for another 40hrs I will. It's wrong wrong wrong. They have purposely damaged my equipment in order for maintenance to make money, taken all of my escrow acct's charged me $4,000 in maintenance fees, purposely blew out my electrical system, cut my air conditioning belt, (not realizing I had just had replacement done. They have improperly charged me for things that I should not have been, falsified inspection reports..And one of their responses was, and I quote, "we're not going to put money into a vehicle that only has a few months before being returned". And yet they want to charge me over $7000,00. Well I think the FBI (corporate Fraud Division) might have something to say. I am filing both civil and criminal charges against CR England. So just stand back and watch the rubber burn. Because I will not rest until this issue all avenues are exhausted. There are other things that CR England is doing and has done to not only me but others but this is one dog that doesn't just sit in a corner. God Bless

All this guy is doing is sitting in front of his computer bagging on trucking companys. Not 10 hours before he made this report he was talking s**t about Swift Transortation. That was on 12/12/2002 3:16:34 am. Get real Ed. Obviously you can't cut it as a truck driver so you come here and use the RIP OFF REPORT to try and hurt companies that would not give you a free lunch. Quit your crying and find a different occupation. I have been in the trucking business for years and see your type on a daily basis. 8 cents a mile split. That is a right out lie. Anyone can cal CR England right now and get thier rates. 8 cents a mile split was what the pay was maybe in 1969. Who do you think you kidding here. You new drivers all I can tell you is CR England has been around a long time. All of the companys are basically the same. Some pay a little more and some a little less. There is no good or bad. Trucking is not for everyone.
