Choice Home Warranty Consumer Fraud Edison New Jersey
As with most of the complaints against Choice Home Warranty, our claim to replace our air conditioning unit has been denied.
They were rude and verbally abusive. A person named "Alex", who indicated that he was the owner, yelled at me and kept talking without allowing me a chance to speak. They gave us the runaround for 5 days, when Phoenix temperatures were between 115 - 120 degrees.
Our A/C claim was denied for a "pre existing condition", since a technician had previously charged it with freon!
They sent two different "authorized service technicians" for whom we could not find any record of being licensed or insured.
I could not find Choice Home Warranty listed with the State of NJ nor with the State of Arizona.
I have filed with the BBB, Attornies General for NJ and AZ and will also contact the Post Office, as suggested.
