CIC Triple Advantage is part of Experian. They violate the consumers trust by doing a credit report, which allows them access to your account, and then start billing your account in about a week for $14.95 every month until you get your bank to block them. You get no email or written notice or reciept that thay are doing this and there are no services provided.

CIC must be held accountable as they are the thieves, not my bank. My bank is doing it's job. CIC is manipulating, cheating and stealing from innocent people with their lies and deception. The "Free Credit Report" is not at all Free. Deception and lies start right with their name.

The main page of their website and step 2 of their sign up page notify you that you are enrolling in their triple advantage credit monitoring service. You are notified of this TWICE. You are notified TWICE that they will debit you $14.95 UNLESS you cancel the trial membership within 7 days. Further, on their main page they tell folks WHERE to go for a free credit report as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Here it is from their home page: ""IMPORTANT INFORMATION When you order your free report here, you will begin your free trial membership in Triple AdvantageSM Credit Monitoring. If you don't cancel your membership within the 7-day trial period**, you will be billed $14.95 for each month that you continue your membership. (((Redacted))). and (((Redacted))) are not affiliated with the annual free credit report program. Under a new Federal law, you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies. To request your free annual report under that law, you must go to www.annualcreditreport.com."" This notice has been on their website for over 2 years that I know of. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. You failed to read their homepage and now you blame them. Sooner or later, the credit card companies and banks are going to STOP reverse charges for folks who use freecreditreport and then claim they didn't know they were entering into a trial membership of their monitoring service. In the future, READ EVERYTHING from any website you are considering doing business with.
