Laura: I hear what you are saying. It appears your working environment is one of a "sweat shop" and shouldn't be tolerated. Perhaps you should contact United Auto Workers Union and become a unionized company that will protect and work for you on your behalf. For everyone's sake, call and report them to Department of Labor; Call the Attorney General of the State of Texas and ask that Cignular be investigated for all sorts of mismanagement especially FRAUD. Take control of the situation as best you can, and by all means, get out and get a college degree so you don't have to work in that hell hole. I don't mind paying for what I truly owe, I DO MIND BEING LIED TO ABOUT IT. Good luck to you and have a wonderful life...it is short I am age 54 and regret everyday that I don't have a college degree!

I have worked at cingular wireless for nearly eight months. people believe that cingular puts them through hell being customers. imagine being an employee, under their thumb. i strive every day to try to turn around peoples perceptions of this company because they do pay my bills and keep food in my mouth. and i know and understand how people are so mad at some of the things other reps do. i am not in any way trying to justify the way our company is run, but maybe in some way i can help others understand how unbelievably stressful and depressing this job is. when something is wrong on an account and we need manager approval for something, when we approach a manager and ask for help and they tell us to go away, they dont feel like getting up, they cut our lunch hour down to thirty minutes...threaten us every day with termination, hover over us constantly dont let us talk or communicate even when our call volume is low, then they have the nerve to mess up our paychecks severly and tell us we have to wait till later, to get our hard earned money. then we have to get on the phone, and be yelled at by angry customers. with all this going on, it is not exusable but hopefully understandable. customers dont know that its a good day when we dont have an ambulance up here taking someone to the hospital, for a seizure, stroke or panic attack. all from stress mind you. we all have our problems. i dont expect anybody to come running back to us as customers especially after reading some of the testimonials on this website, but hopefully you understand a bit more what goes on. we even have a union that makes excuses for what the company does. i just wish there was something that could be done. for everyone.
