Well this story all started about a month ago. I got online to pay my bill, which was $139.78. Two times I tried to do the transaction and the screen told me the transaction had failed, to try again or call customer service. Because of the fact you have to wait on the phone for at least 20 minutes when you call there, I thought to myself I'll just try it one more time.

So on the third try, it went through. About four days after this transaction, I find out cingular charged my checking account $139.78, twice. Well needless to say, I did not have the money in my account for the second charge. This also made four other checks bounce which was a charge of $125.00. Now my account is being chared $5 per day, and if not brought into a positive balance by June 26, my account will be close and regardless, it will be marked against me at the bank, like for a loan or anything like that.

I had spoke to two different people in the finacial dept. who both told me the request had been made and the check should be here at anytime. Much to my suprise, I called just the other day and I'm told "well we credited your account and all we can do is request that $115.00 be sent to you in about a week."

So just a little advice, do not pay your bill online. After this happened I found out you can pay it through 611 and its automated, so you don't have to wait 20 minutes. Also, if you haven't already signed that contract, don't. They will screw you too.

Note to Cingular: you make enough money from all your customers, so stop being greedy and screwing everyone.
