I bought a Sony DVD/VCR player from the Moorestown NJ Cuircuit City Store and also bought the extended warrenty comtract they offer. The contract they said would take care of any and all repairs or complete refund and/or replacement.

After less then a year the DVD didn't work. So I took it to customer service and they sent it out to be fixed... 10 days later I got a message on my VM that it was back at the store for pick up. I went over and waited at least 40 minutes in line. Once I got there they said it wasn't at the store! That it hadn't been delivered yet! So I leave...4 days later I call and they said it was there (they never called me). So I go and wait again for about 30 minutes...Pick up the DVD and take it home. It didn't work yet it had certified technician labels all over it. So I take it back and wait another 10 days...again they call to tell me it's back...I go there and IT"S NOT THERE!!!!!! I come back 8 days later and it's there...I ask them why I didn't get a call and they said they did call..(they lied) I didn't get a called

I take it home and IT DID NOT WORK! I take it back AGAIN and they send it away...I wait ANOTHER 10 days and it comes back...Did Not Work...they said it was the remote and told me to call this # and they would send me another one...

I asked if they could do it and the girl at the desk said I had to do it...So I leave, call the # and they didn't know what I was talking about and told me that the store had to order it..

I go back (angry now) and tell them I want my $ back. The manager of the DVD dept there comes around the corner and says...Sony's use the same remotes..and he hands me a remote from the store (didn't look anything like the original one)..He said they all work. So I go home again, plug everything in again...turn it on...Doesn't work! I come back...angry. They said they'll order on new one. I tell them how bad my experience is...they all knowe me and remember me...The Mangager of the DVD dept even gave me his personal cell# and said he's order it if it get's messed up and ALSO said that if uit doesn't work with the new remote that I'd get a refund or a new Sony DVD player...

I wait 15 days...no call. I stop in wait 25 minutes and they give it to me..asked them why they didn't call and they said they did...LIED>

I take it home...doesn't work. So I take the DVD and remote tonight back to thew store and demand my $ back. The manager of the DVD dept comes around and says...what's all this about? I told him the story and also that we had spoke several times...they all acted like they didn't know me...and the manager said I had to SEND IT BACK TO BE FIXED...I reminded him what he told me about the refund and he looked at me like he didn't know what I was talking about...

Yet just a few weeks earlier he gave me his cell # and walked me to the door and shook my hand with a big smile oin his face!!!

I'm so PISSED I will do ANYTHING to make them pay restitution. It's not just the fact that they are all liers but my time is valuable and they waisted several hours of my time...took my $ and they are absolutely thoughless and scammy...I'm telling EVERYBODY.
