Circuit City rebate ripoff rebates guaranteed if you pay them to file not honored Palm Desert California
I was told that if the manager completed the rebate forms, the rebates (of $250.00) would be guaranteed. If I did not receive the rebates in 12 weeks, Circuit City would give me cash. I had to pay $30 for this service. Now I cannot get them to give me the cash, they do not respond to phone calls or give me someone new that "has to check" in on it.

Thats why I hate that we now fill out rebates. The 12 weeks is usually for our rebates and sometimes the manf. takes longer. As the guy above said see if you can check on the status of the rebate. If it was denied talk to the manager and if that isnt good enough ask for the "cool line" and talk to corprate. Good luck on getting your rebates.

I work for circuit city and am familiar with this "rush" rebate thing.. I agree with you that they should give you your money if your rebates do not come back. However, I do not believe that there is a guarentee the refund will be after only "12 weeks" The problem lies mostly with the manufacturers. Sometimes manufacturer rebates take a little longer to get back then do the circuit city rebates. So give it another month or so. Most manufacturers also have website you can go to to check the status of your rebate. Try doing that. If everything still isnt solved, i suggest you contact the c city corperate offices.
