Omesshio, What is your problem?? Here you are dissing another customer for just trying to have a warranty honored! They bought a phone, they bought a warranty. The employee told them to "COME BACK TO CIRCUIT CITY" for any issues (sound familiar?? hmmmm??). Then Circuit City left them high and dry when the phone failed. Typical BS from your company. Typical response from you. Your sick man! SICK! And where did this person in the original post rant about being "rich". All this person stated is that they had spent thousands there. Nothing more. Is this how Circuit City treats its regular return customers. This person made a simple point that they USED to be a regular customer. I guess that means nothing to you. This is another perfect example of how Circuit City dodges its warranty responsibilities. Hands down, this customer got the shaft! And just what is it in your post that "helped" this customer?? Good god man your vile! Now for the original post........ Its obvious that Circuit City has ditched you. I would file a small claims suit immeadiately. Demand the full price of the phone and warranty. Do not waver. Do not wait. The longer you let this go the longer Circuit City will fill its sandbags and prepare to defend itself under its bullshit "we can change the warranty at will" clause. If the money you are out is under $500, Circuit City will most likely cave in. Since the cost to pay a shmuck lawyer to show up in their defence will cost them far more for even a couple of hours of his time. Use that to your advantage. About the "we can change the warranty at any time"........ Im absolutely STUNNED that Circuit City has sunk so low. A contract is worth absolutely NOTHING with terms like that. This should be a warning to all, NEVER to purchase such an agreement. If Circuit City is allowed to change at will the terms of an agreement without even proper notice then it is absolutely worthless to a consumer. Why would anyone purchase such a thing? Circuit City can basically ditch you at will, and when they deem nessesary. To be honest, this is the first I've heard of such a vile thing. I bet we will be seeing a huge influx of irate threads on this site in the comming months about Circuit City. I'm sure Omessiho will be there slinging his mud to try and deflect, dodge, and avoid the truth of the situation.

For ever dollar you spend their is a customer that spends more, should he be treated better? I am confused here. How is the value of the phone less then the price of the coverage? Did you pay more for coverage then the phone? From what I understand you will get the value of the phone and the remainder of CA back on a gift card. I would imagine its impossible to give you that same phone because it probably no longer exists.
