Hello, I know how you feel. I work for the TDSP (Transmission and Distribution Service Provider) Oncor Electric Delivery. By reading your report, I hear these kind of reports on a daily basis, allow me to explain a few things.
Depending on what Retail Electric Provider you choose and what plan you decide to go with they will charge a small/moderate/complete TDSP/TDU charge. What is this? This is a charge Oncor charges YOUR REP(Retail Electric Provider) for Oncor services.Which is to deliver the electricity your house uses from companies who produce the electricity.
So in turn, the more electricity you use, the more Oncor has to deliver which increases the TDSP/TDU charge. Now depending on your REP they can chose to pay all of the TDSP/TDU charge. Or they can pay part of it and pass what they don't pay over to you. And last they can choose to pay none of it and pass the complete charge to you.
You have every right to dispute this charge since Oncor does not charge this to you. But since your REP placed it on your bill they expect you to pay it. You won't be able to directly dispute it with Oncor. Believe me they will tell you to call Oncor cause its our charge. But unfortunately the customer service dept 888-313-6862 does not handle any billing issue.
Because no matter how many times you call Oncor we wont be able to adjust/ or remove those charges. Without receiving a billing dispute from your REP. So just try calling your REP and have them submit that for you. And if the person you speak to does not know what they are doing or how to handle it request to speak to a supervisor.
I hope you've had your issue resolved already, if not I hope this helped you a bit.
