I took my car to South Seattle Community College for a transmission rebuild and on or about May of 2004 South Seattle College requested that I pay Seatac Parts Warehouse for some auto parts. I did provide a creditcard over the phone and Seatac Parts Warehouse allegedly delivered the parts to South Seattle College.

The car was made available to me on June 14, 2005 and the car does not run. Apparently there was a warranty on the parts through Seatac Parts Warehouse, but Seatac failed to honor the warranty. That warranty should have been 90 days from the date their agent made the car available. As a result, I disputed the charges with Citibank. I pointed out to Citibank that Visa has a regulation that allows one year from the date of a transaction when the transaction involves one continuous transaction. I believe my transaction fitted this situation.

Citibank failed to contact Seatac Parts Warehouse about any of the charges, but did send me an acknowledgement that they had contacted Seatac Parts Warehouse about $312.29 Their acknowledgement shorted me by $168.15 As a result, I contacted Melissa Preston in the President's Office and she lied to me and told me she would contact the other departments within Citibank about this. She never contacted anyone. At one point the Citicards Office in the The Lakes Nevada actually sent me a check for more than $24 This was not from the disputed charges, but alleged interest on those charges that was not incurred. I promptly mailed the check to Melissa Preston and requested an explanation and never heard back from her again. Subsequent letters to The Lakes Nevada went unanswered. A couple of days ago (October 29, 2005)I received a message from S. Larson that the case was closed.

As a result of Citibank's actions, I lost over $475.44 on this transaction. In addition, Citibank mailed a creditcard payment back to me on or about April of 2005.

They should have cashed it and credited it, but they didn't. I mailed the check back to them without cashing it. On or about June of 2005, I received a message indicating that they were going to turn me into collection and I had 10 days to contact them. I contacted Melissa Preston about this as well.

This is a crooked and incompetant bank. We need a bank of the state to get rid of these bums and all of the other that are like them in the banking industry. They can not be trusted.
