Civil Tree Arbi Nazari (he was the person that always contacted us back) Filed Court Date in 2011, it is now 2014- no court date and no refund as promised- civil tree now MIA California
Back in December of 2011, we filed a court case against a previous customer. We used Civil Tree, because I had previously used them in the past with my old company and referred my new boss to them.
After several months of no response, I contacted Civil Tree. A few days later we received a package in the mail to get notarized and send back to them, which we did the same day.
After a few months of no response I contacted Civil Tree again and was told that "NY is a mess and they are going to start assigning court dates for late 2011 filings in the Summer of 2012 and that we should be receiving our date soon.
Summer 2012, comes and goes and again no response. I contact Civil Tree again and they are saying "2011 filings are now receiving court dates of late fall or early winter of 2012 and that we should be getting notice of our date soon.
I contact them again in early 2013 and I receive a response about how they are sorry and they do not know why they have not had any court dates (which I know is a lie because we have been through manyyyyy court dates since 2011 and the only difference was we filed ourselves instead of dealing with Civil Tree) Arbi tells us that if he does not receive a response, he will issue us a refund.
Again, I do not hear from Arbi so I contact him back demanding a refund. He asked me for our address to send a refund check to and I give it to him. He sends me an email back confirming our address and saying our refund is on the way.
After not hearing from him for about another month, I contact him again asking why we never received our refund and our emails started bouncing back and all numbers and website for civil tree has disappeared.
I have kept every correspondence with these people. How do we get our money back?
