civil tree disappeared, did not file claim, stole my money, no warning that the company was closing Internet
I found civiltree doing an online search. After reading the reviews, I decided to use them, hoping that I would not be ripped off.
The irony of being ripped off by a company that was supposedly helping you sue someone who ripped you off is funny, right?
Anyway, I would periodically email them, or check the status of my case online. One day I attempted to log-in to my account and the website was down. I checked the next day and same thing. I sent them an email, which bounced back. It was then that I began searching online for any information about this company.
I had a sickening feeling in my stomach, when I realized that this company or persons, just packed up, without warning, stole my money, and left me hanging as to the status of my small claims case. It is now that I am emailing and calling the small claims court in Santa Clarita, Ca., trying to find out if indeed a suit was filed. If anyone knows how I can get my $200 back from these crooks, please let me know.
