WRAL TV 5 Needs your help!!!!! They are trying to do a follow up story on Brian Clark and the new crooks on the block James Grosslight and his new company playing the same ole tricks called American Classic Car Restorations. Please read the email I got from them WRAL and give them a call and help put Brian Clark in the slammer I also posted an update on my car.

(This is an update on my car the 1965 Carolina Blue Mustang)

I took the car to some guys that I can put you in touch with with that actually finish cars and they look amazing! They are just finishing up on a 1956 Chevy and it looks stunning! They will only work on your car if they think it is worth restoring and they do not take a wad of cash up front. They do it the right way. My car has been torn back apart and is getting ready to go through the whole process again. The one good thing right now is that I will not have to buy as many new parts because I already had most all the parts needed. I did have to buy some parts again since Brian said he lost them. I doubt that is true. I think he has been selling our parts for some quick cash. I have some people out there watching to see if some special items come up that I know are mine. This has been a hard lesson! If you ever decide to get a car restored please ask around! There are so many cars that just get torn apart and never ever get restored! There are so many crooks out there! Brian Clark and James Grosslight are just a few that I can think of. James Grosslight tries to push you around because he thinks he is some rich wise guy that is better than you. Just read some of Mr. Grosslight's responses on here. The guy is just as bad as Brian Clark! Why else would these two be doing business together and he has Brian Clark on his payroll!

(This is the email I got from WRAL)

Good Morning,

Im contacting you because you previously complained to us about Brian Clark and The Classic Chassis.
Im sure most if not all of you are aware that back in April, the business was bought by James Grosslight and renamed American Car Restoration. http://www.accrestoration.com
For some and possibly all of you, this makes no difference because you have your cars back and will still have to go after Brian for any money you have paid him for work thats not complete.
For those of you whose cars are still there, Id like to know if you have had the new company do any work and what your dealings with them have been so far. Good or bad. Im trying to get an overall feel for how things are going.
Im going to speak with the new owner for his take on things, so I want to have as much info as possible before I do that.
From what I can tell, Brian has not filed bankruptcy yet. He did file in 2009 naming himself and the company, but did not follow the payment conditions, so his case was dismissed about a year ago.
Id like to do a final follow-up on this, so Id appreciate your updates.

Thanks for your help.

Who ever you are, REMOVE your post, you are not a customer of American Classic Car Restoration, LLC and you have an appointment with the Attorney Generals office, Attorney Mr. Dickson, next Friday.

Since you posted that I, James Grosslight & American Classic Cars Restoration, LLC are crooks, playing the same old tricks, push you around...

I have started a complaint with the Attorney General of NC office in Raleigh, consumer complaint office.  You now have an appointment with one of the Attorney Generals lawyers, Attorney Torrey Dickson of the consumer complaint department.  He will see you personally, Friday July 15 @ 10:00am, 114 W.Edenton street, Raleigh (the old Education building, the meeting is currently under my name).  This meeting is just about your complaints against me and American Classic Car Restoration, LLC and nothing else. Bring all documentation and proof you have that you are basing your allegations as they are ready to investigate your alleged complaints right away!   And the ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE WILL SEE WHO IS THE DISHONEST ONE OF US!

With that being said, you are trying to trash me and this new company for wrong doings  another person and company has done.  I am not sure they have done anything to you since you never reveal who you are and substantiate your connection to the former shop and person who use to reside at the current location of my new shop.

THE ONLY SIMILARITY IS THE ADDRESS!

I ALSO FIND IT INTERESTING THAT:

  1. You do not give out your name
2.  American Classic Car Restoration has never had a 1965 Carolina Blue Mustang as a client.
3.  You Post my name along with many trash talking words associated with my name and this new        restoration shop.  (I don't know you, and you are not a customer of this shop)
4.  In this post, you call me a crook, pushed you around...  If we have never met, and you have never been a client of American Classic Car Restoration, LLC,  who is being dishonest here!
5.  Most of your posts is directed towards Brian Clark and Classic Chassis, SO WHY ATTACK ME AND  AMERICAN CLASSIC CAR RESTORATION,LLC when we have done nothing to deserve this type of post.    Remove your post!
Why have you misleading and not directed readers to the other area of "ripoffreport.com, where others also posted before and I answered their post,  with great satisfaction to all who have read it.
6.  you make no mention that because American Classic Car Restoration, LLC opened in the same location, that all cars were now safe, secure, and even the deployed military personals cars were safe and being kept safe till their return or contact.

I also see from the post, supposedly a letter from WRAL, this letter, mis-stated that the business was bought and the name was changed.  This is also UNTRUE.  This is a new business and has no connection with the former business at the same location.  I will get in touch with WRAL to see if they did write a response to you and verify if this is their letter and misstatement, and to get this point corrected.  I also would assume WRAL has a legal statement at the bottom of their correspondents that most likely prevent you from posting any correspondence from them.

James Grosslight

P.S.  Don't forget your appointment at the Attorney Generals office. and to remove your post since you are not and have never been a client of American Classic Car Restoration, LLC
