Classic Closeouts Fraudulent charges to my bank account months after I purchased from this company Hempstead New York
I was referred to a company, Classic Closeouts, by a friend who was referred to that company from Amazon.com. I placed an order with this company in May and now as of July 24, this company made two charges of $69.99 to my bank card. When I go to their website and look at my order history there is nothing showing I placed an order with them on July 24. My friend was also charged only once $69.99 from this company and she has been trying to get her money back for now over a week. Her bank recommended she not cancel her card to ensure she received her money back.
When she called the company she spoke with someone at approximately 4:30 pm and he stated that he was the only one working at the moment and that he would take down her info and someone would contact her within one business day, no one has contacted her and she has been leaving emails daily with them. I contacted their company Friday morning at approximately 9 am and spoke with one of their representative's who ironically told me, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, that he was the only one in the office. He took down my information and told me that someone would be in contact with me in one business day. I want you're company to know the type of activity that this company is displaying.
I also looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they are not supported by them. I plan on dedicated as much time as possible to letting as many people as possible know about this company and what a rip off they are. They obviously saved my credit card information without my permission and do not even have the courtesy to have upper management talk to me or my friend.
