I was contacted about an online business, creating banner ads and having them placed on strategic sites, and getting paid per click and also a small commission on any actual sales resulting from same.

All very nicely explained here: www.click2sell.co

After investing the initial $200 and not really getting much result, I was told that to get better exposure I would need to invest more. They wanted $2500 in total. We settled on $2,305.

Once I did that, I got a letter from their "Compliance" department asking me to sign that once I have given them the money, they have fulfilled their obligation to me and that I have no recourse to get any of my money back, let alone any profit (I'm paraphrasing that).

So, they have a very nice login to the account where you can see the numbers go up, in the beginning fast and then as it gets closer to recouping the investment, it start to trickle.

So, it never gets to the point of being able to get any money out.

The next step, today, was that I need to go to the next level, another $2500 or $5000, to get the amount of exposure needed to actually make a profit.

I don't believe there is anything happening in the background, no real banner ad placement or any kind of business. They just take your money and show numbers on the screen, that seem to indicate some type of activity. All smoke and mirrors.

That's all that they show for the money. The numbers go up by $10-12 a day and that's it.

When I ask for something that shows were the banner ads are or where the sales are, I'm given the run-around and never get anywhere.

Today I was told that I would have to be a with the company for over a year and have produced $245,000 for the company before I could take out any money. I have it all on tape.

When I ask how the numbers are generated, I'm given some unintelligible mumbo-jumbo. I've asked: Where are the banner ads placed, where are the sales taking place? Never get a straight answer.

For the first few days the numbers were going up fast. Then they trickled down to $10-12 a day. When I called to complain and suggest that this is a scam (this was on Skype, so I have the thread), I was told that I was being disrespectful and that he, David Phillips, no longer wanted to be my agent and that someone else would be taking over. Never addressed my concerns.

The other person did eventually call and all he wanted was for me to "buy into the next level". In other words, If I did not put in another $2500 or $5000, there was no way that the numbers would ever go up and that I would never really make any money.

So, this is exactly what I was told after the initial $200 deposit. Once the dollars got the about $250, they started to slow down. When I asked what happened, I was told that to get better results (exposure, they call it) I would have to go to the next level and get the deposit up to $2500 or I just won't see any profits. I then told him I would be willing to put in another $1000. He said that would be OK. As soon as I did that, He told me to hold on a minute his manager wanted to speak to me. When the manager got on the phone, he told me that this was not enough to get me to the next level, that I needed to get the total up to $2500 or nothing would happen. Somehow, he agreed to take only another $1105.

All this is not at all what was described to me by the person I was initially speaking to on the phone. And now when I speak to anyone, it's the same thing all over again: "You need to go to the next level in order to see any profits".

Another interesting thing is that they claim to be in Trafalgar Square, London, but every person I have spoken to, about 6 now, has had a South African accent.

The company has agreed to refund my money in total.

Therefore, it would seem, that all of my allegations have been of my own making, assumptions and anxiety driven.

I retract all that I jave previously posted.
