Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On 8/23/13 after constant annoying robohead calls to my home office indicating that the government has lowered credit card rates and it was mandatory for CC companies to review I spoke first with Randy Tally who positioned herself as working with MasterCard. She stated that she could get me 0% financing on my CC debt and that the processing fee would be at the 0% interest so there was no risk.  I agreed verbally.  Then, I had to sign a form, when I argued and wanted to stop they said I already agreed verbally and that there was no risk because what I was signing guaranteed $6K in savings within 60 business days otherwise the cost would be refunded. They were very elusive as to saving money within 60 days vs. any unlimited time. I signed thinking if they didn't accomplish it I would get the initial price of $3500 back and since it was at 0% interest it was just my time being eatin up - they never sent me a copy of the agreement I signed.

They sent me then to John Phillips, in FL who called my CC company and got my interest rate lowered from 13.24% to 9.99% when I argued that wasn't $6K in savings made him prove it wasn't he said they would still be working to find more savings. They then said I had to pay the $3500 on my CC at the 9.99% when I refused they got me a GM card at with a year-long promotional rate of 0% with a $3K limit and only charged me $2900 for their expense because with the cash advance fee that all they could charge on the account (not telling me it would be processed as a cash advance). So instead of saving me $6000 they added another $3k in debt. Even though they said they were working on things I got one call after the initial call. I still got annoying robohead calls even after telling them I am already working with and having the Customer Service person hang up.

11/25/13 I followed up with them expecting to get my refund given I had given them more than 60 business days to save me $6K. John asked to again talk to my CC company. He did and the rep told them we were on the best rate at 9.99% until February. He said when it's up in February he would then work on something else. I said what happened to the promise of saving me $6k within 60 business days. He said they have more the 60 business days to show the $6k and they haven't stopped working with me.

On 11/25/13 I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau who responded back to me on 12/22/13 saying that Credit Management Assistance never responded to the complaint (I thought it was this company out of NY because I never got any information on the company other than CMA.

12/23/13, I followed up with the Capital One GE CC that they gained for me.  I found out that since their fee was processed as a balance transfer that there was no recourse or ability to dispute.  They asked me if I gave my SS# which I did because they said they needed it for processing and that I couldn’t back out of the deal anymore.  The Capital One GE CC said they used that to do the balance transfer.  I told her I was told it would be charged to the CC but they illegally used my SS# to process it as a balance transfer without my permission.    I asked her for the information on who the balance transfer went to and she said FOC Credit.  According to the internet, FOC Credit is a fictitious is owned by Loyal Financial & Credit   Services, LLC, 11549 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando,   FL 32825 that has many complaints filed against them.

I also followed up CMA to get a copy of the contract I signed since I was never sent a copy of the agreement.  They told me they would email it to me and send it via mail.  After getting a copy of my agreement, I called back to customer service told them I wanted to speak to Jon whom I was told was on the phone with someone.  I then asked to speak to Jon’s supervisor or manager and the customer service person told me they could help me and I proceeded to ask for a refund.  Initially, they referred me to Michele Walker in Legal then I was transferred to Selena Young in Q&A.  Selena stated that since they reduced the rate from 13.24% to 9.99% that they saved me over $6K.  They said they will work with us during our lifetime.  I said what if I pay off the CC tomorrow you would not have saved me $6K in 60 days.  She said that was true and if so I would need to prove that I paid it off by faxing a copy showing $0 balance to 877-733-5445.  It was strange that both of them indicate the company name is CMA and she doesn’t have a physical address due to security reasons but has given me a P.O. Box of 782186, Orlando, FL, 32878.  She states that FOC whom the agreement is with is the processing company.

I am planning to payoff the credit card in April and we'll see what happens then.  I probably still won't get the refund but I would love to work with a lawyer to file a class action suit given the amount of complaints.
