Cmi magazine scam ripoff Helena Montana
in january i recieved a call from united marketing promising me a new watch if i signed up for magazines at 24.99 a month. i recieved magazines but not the ones that i had originally ordered and never recieved the watch. after three months i got a bill in the mail from a company called cmi marketing stating i owed them 75 dollars and a number to call.
i called the number and they stated that if i paid them with check by phone my account would be brought up to date and i could cancel. i paid them with the check and then tried to cancel. they refused to cancel and told me i owed 560 dollars now but would give me a discount of 70 percent off to cancel i refused to do so. the next day i notice a charge in my account for 12.95 from cic*ce credit report.
i had not spent anything on a credit report so i typed in the charge and found this site. i began searching this site and found the company is basically a scam and hope that i can get this resolved and get my money back
