Anaheim,#2Consumer Suggestion

Rick, I'm right down the road from you, in Anaheim. Plus, I have an RV of my own. I buy class C units, because I live in them full-time. The sportcoach is d**n nice, but it's too big to get in and out of parking lots. Plus, I want a driver's door, like a car. You know, I read many of the same complaints from a lady here, on this site. Her parents bought a Gulfstream. Leaked like a sieve. I used to deliver coaches for National RV, in Perris. I know for a fact that they use a water spray test for leaks, because I saw them do it. I'd feel comfortable with a National product. I ran em thousands of miles. In the winter and in the driving rain. So, there are still some reliable manufacturers left. But, I understand exactly what you're talking about. Quality is a lost art. I think it costs too much. American workers are too expensive. That's why foreign competitors have the edge. After going to the site and looking at the coach, I'm guessing it's over $200k. Easy. Leather, cherry wood. Cat 350. That's big bucks. Is that a fake fireplace? Make that $300k. For that kind of money, none of this should be happening. I'm really sorry to hear this! If you decide that this is a lemon, there is a site just for you. Search RV lemon law. I found it for that other lady and her parents. Front end on backwards? That scares me to think that they hired a trainee to work on your coach. Unbelievable! Now that you filed a complaint, use this site to the fullest advantage. Get the book. Others have said it contains useful instructions. Give Coachman a reasonable chance. But, cut your losses and get a refund if the thing turns out to be junk. Nobody should have to settle for junk after putting out that kind of money! Best of luck to you, Rick!
