Comm Services, LLD DVDs, mail, didn't order Internet
My mother received an DVD in the mail from Comm-Services B. The title of the movie was Wanted:Babysitter. No one in our family ordered any film from this company, and so we called the company to inquire about the film. We were told that the DVD is free, but shipping and handling is charged.
My mother strongly stated that she would not be paying for anything, since she did not order this film, and wanted to know when and how the purchase was made and sent to her. The company told her to call back and give them her credit card number so they could match it up. Of course, she didn't, so we called the bank and cancelled her card.
Now, this could be the result of someone stealing her credit card number, but this company does not look legit. When she called, the company seemed to know immediately to ask for her credit card. It doesn't seem right. I'm hoping someone just stole her account number (we have had a breakout of people doing that in our town recently, due to machines placed in gas station pumps), but I'm worried about this company and how they got a hold of her credit card (this seems to be the only fradulent charge issues to her, which doesn't make sense--who would just buy a DVD and send it to another address?)
