Katherine in Ankorage,Alaska,be better informed!I work at a call center here in Canada, but we only call into the U.S.,so I know what's what. For staters,if they don't tell you the call is being recored right away,it's not being recorded until they tell you,and it's probably only recorded for their advantage-not yours,no matter what they say before that tape starts rolling.American law states that if you don't recieve what they promised you,you don't pay for it-but-it comes down to what you can prove they offered, hence the recording. What this comes down to is this, really listen to what they are saying, before and after the recording starts. Some things that you are called about are legitimate,I know that for a fact, since I work for a company that offers opportunites for people to manage credit problems and it really does work. All it really takes is a clear head and to really be listening,to be kind and polite, and to ask the right questions. If you do that, you can recieve great offers and promotions that will do alot for you. Stay sharp!!!
