This company is a member of the Austin, TX BBB.

This is a warning to not purchase any products from this company because the dishwasher that I purchased from them did not last 30 days and though compactappliance.com states that they have a 30 day no hassle return policy, they do not honor this.

First, it took about 2 weeks for the dishwasher to be delivered. I had to contact them about that and the day that I contacted compactappliance.com, they contacted me back immediately informing me that they would contact me once the dishwasher had been shipped. That day, Fed Ex left my dishwasher sitting by the road.

So, compactappliance, who I supposedly purchased this dishwasher from, was not even aware that they had shipped "their" product. Who shipped it, Haier? So, I informed compactappliance.com that I had received my dishwasher, but it was wet.

So, I contacted them again to inform them that it was wet, and they responded immediately back to me stating that they did not know why it was wet but that they tested the products before shipping and that might be the reason. Yea? They did not even know that they shipped the product!

So, I get my dishwasher up and running and about 27 days from the time that I received it, it acquired a leak. I have extensive water damage and mold all behind my cabinets and I contact Haier and they tell me that I have to pay more money, $14.99 to have it exchanged.

NO, I am not going to pay anymore money! So, I contact compactappliance.com through email because of their 30 day no hassle return policy and inform them that they will exchange this product at their expense and they do not reply. So, because they do not respond, I inform them and the BBB that I want them to pick up their product at their expense and give me a refund on their product per their 30 day no hassle return policy.

I still have not received a reply from them after 11 days but they did respond to the BBB about not having the original packaging and that is the reason for not taking it back and that I must contact Haier to get anything resolved. So, compactappliance.com is able to receive the commission for selling a defective product and the customer suffers. Something is extremely wrong with a business that is able to function under those terms.

This company still refuses to refund my money

I can not believe what I have dealt with this company. Never in my life have I ever been refused a refund for a defective product. This company has not contacted me at all. I have filed a report with the BBB in Texas. I have filed a complaint with The Texas Attorney General. Still no response from compactappliance.com. I still have a defective dishwasher on my floor in my kitchen and out of $200.00. The next step will be small claims court.
